Welcome to the Support for Families Exchange. This bulletin board is for the benefit of families, professionals, and community members who care for -- and about -- children with any kind of disability or special health care need.

We hope that the bulletin board will be used to post and share information about child care, equipment needed (or no longer needed), resources, legislation, and other issues of concern to our community.

Although we will make every effort to monitor the Exchange, Support for Families cannot guarantee the accuracy of any information posted on this board.

How to Use the Bulletin Board:

When you click on the bulletin board link, you will go to the Support for Families Exchange.

Log in. If you haven't registered, please take a second to do so. You can post as a guest but cannot edit or delete your posts.

You will see a list of forums such as Childcare or Resources. Click on the forum you which to view/post/reply.

To reply to a message or add to the discussion on a topic:

1. Click on the topic name or message.
2. Click on the "Post Reply" button.
3. If you logged in your User Name will be included. If not you can Log In first or you may type in your own name, initials, or a "handle" for a user name.
4. Type in your message. You can include your e-mail address if you wish to have replies sent directly to you.
5. Scroll down to the bottom of the screen. Here you can click to preview your message if you wish.
6. When you are ready to post your message click the “Submit” button at the bottom of the screen.

To start a new topic:

1. Click on the “New Topic” button.
2. If you logged in your User Name will be included. If not you can Log In first or you may type in your own name, initials, or a "handle" for a user name.
3. Type in a subject name and type your message.
4. Scroll down to the bottom of the screen. Here you can click to preview your message if you wish.
5. When you are ready to post your message click the “Submit” button at the bottom of the screen.
