Resources

There are many public agencies and programs with a mandate to provide or fund services to children with special needs. There are also several non-profit agencies and programs that offer assistance to families and child care providers. Families and providers may want to become familiar with these local and state resources.

The resources on this website are divided into three major categories:

  • Key agencies that provide services to children with disabilities and their families;
  • Child-care related resources, including programs that provide child care and referrals, as well as assistance to families and child care providers;
  • Advocacy resources are organizations that provide advocacy services to children with special needs,their families and the community.
