Position: Director of Finance & Operations

Position Description: The Director of Operations oversees all agency fiscal and human resource activities under the direct supervision of the Executive Director. Manages the financial resources of the organization including accounting, finance, organization-wide budgets and treasury in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and organization/contract policies and procedures; safeguards assets through the maintenance of proper controls. Participates as a member of the senior management team. Specific duties include: monthly cost allocation, reconciliation and financial statement preparation; bi-monthly payroll processing; on-going accounts payable/receivable administration; budget preparation and monitoring; quarterly audit work as required by various funding agencies; annual company audit; all required tax filings (Form 990, etc.); employee hiring/orientation process management; medical insurance administration; staff supervision; and other responsibilities as necessary.

Position Description: The Social Worker Bilingual Cantonese provides short-term counseling and short-term case management for families of children with disabilities and other special health care needs and families facing high risk challenges; provides regular follow-up to ensure that the child and/or family needs were met through the referral, provides referrals; works with a team of Family Resource Specialists; represents agency in mental health settings; data collection and writing monthly reports.

Position Description: Provide families of children with disabilities information, education and peer support on a warm line and at the drop-in center. Family Resource Specialist staff also provides professionals with information. Position Description:  A Care Giver at Support for Families of Children with Disabilities provides safe, fun, inclusive care to children of parents accessing Support for Families services.  Our focus is recreational, and we strive to enhance a child’s care experience with art, interactive games, computer exploration, and peer to peer interaction.
