SPECIAL EVENTS

Support for Families is in great need of people who can help out at our Information and Resource Conference in April 2008.

These are also excellent opportunities for group or corporate volunteering!
Information and Resource Conference Set- Up

• Date: April 4th 2008
• Location: John O’Connell High School at 2355 Folsom Avenue, SF, CA.
• Notes: The Information and Resource Conference (IRC) is the largest information event that we host during the year. Come and help us prepare for this important day on the IRC load-in and set up day. We need people who are good at arranging rooms, moving chairs and tables, putting up signs, taping electrical cords and other such activities. We will have some pizza as a treat at the end of the set-up!

ONGOING VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:

• Phone Volunteer: We are seeking a skilled phone caller who speaks Cantonese and/or Mandarin for follow-up phone calls to our families.
  
• Library Intern: We are seeking a volunteer who is skilled with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Internet Explorer, etc.) who can donate time to our Information and Resources department.
