Kids of all ages and adults are invited to walk or use their wheels – bikes, wheelchairs, skates, scooters, strollers etc. – to complete circuits of the Golden Gate Park Music Concourse. We’ll have music, games, food, a karaoke contest and lots of prizes! Walk & Roll includes the Rolling Relay Challenge, where teams from the community can try a slalom course in a wheelchair.

Everyone is welcome, including (and especially) children and adults with disabilities. There are no entry fees for individuals and families but participants can choose to get sponsorships or donations if they wish. We have activities for all ages – including a T-Zone with special activities for youth and young adults.

Meet at the Bandshell at noon, and turn in your registration form and sponsorship donations.

Rolling Relay Challenge: Groups, businesses, schools, nonprofit agencies

Businesses, corporations, nonprofit agencies, and groups can compete in this special Walk & Roll event. Teams (up to four people) will complete a short slalom course – using wheelchairs. Prizes and bragging rights are up for grabs!

Teams participating in the Rolling Relay Challenge are invited to obtain sponsorships for their teams that will help support the work of Support for Families.

Where do donations go?

All proceeds benefit Support for Families of Children with Disabilities, a non-profit organization in San Francisco that has been providing information, education, and parent-to-parent support for families of children with any kind of disability or special health care need since 1982. All donations are tax-deductible within the law.
