How to Build a Walk & Roll Team

  • Go through your address book and make a list of friends, family members and neighbors who might enjoy participating and/or might be able to make a donation (of any size) and/or whose child’s Girl Scout cookies you always buy.
  • You can register online, including the names of team members, or you can bring your registration form with you the day of the event.  (Click here to download Registration Form). Your sponsors can donate to your team online, or you can bring checks or cash with you the day of the event, along with your registration form.
  • If you’d like to make team T-shirts, Click here for T-Shirt Instructions. If that seems like too much work, you could have everyone wear the same color cap, or provide bandannas or armbands.
  • Other good places to gather teammates and/or donations are school (have your child’s class come and ride on his team!  or a sibling’s class-) , merchants in your neighborhood and your place of worship. (One family made an announcement at church and posted a sign with an envelope for donations.)  You can probably come up with many other good ideas.
  •  Then, come on out to Walk & Roll with your team and have a great time!
