SFUSD is planning for their celebration of Inclusive Schools Week! Click the link to see the latest additions from SFUSD’s site. Here are some of the district-wide events and how to participate.

Online Art Showcase

This showcase is open to all students to share what rebuilding our inclusive community looks and feels like for them.  It can be related to their disability, gender, socio-economic status, cultural heritage, language preference, or another unique trait they would like to share.

The showcase will be displayed on a public website and will include multiple forms of media including photos, audio files, and video clips.  Submissions are due no later than Friday, December 10, 2021 and can be sent via this Google Form.

Student Panel

On Thursday, December 9th, from 6-8 pm a student panel will be hosted via Zoom.  This will be an opportunity for a panel of young adults to share their special education journey, as well as discuss their experiences as a whole person, not just as a student with a disability.  For more information about the panel visit sfusd.edu/sped-isw or cacspedsf.com

SFUSD PE Department and Special Olympics Hosting Virtual 49er Workout

Once again, the SFUSD Physical Education Department is partnering with Special Olympics to celebrate Inclusive Schools Week. Special Olympics will be collaborating with the 49ers to lead a virtual workout on Monday, December 6 from 4-5 pm.  If you would like to participate, please sign up here.
