This December 5-9, join SFUSD school sites across the district in celebrating Inclusive Schools Week. Inclusive Schools Week is an opportunity for all of us to come together to honor students with disabilities as full members of our school communities. This year’s theme is “Unity within Community—Inclusion Around the World.” United we are stronger to focus on our common need—inclusive practices in our schools and in our communities!
How is your school celebrating?
Looking for ideas on what to do at your school? Check out the SFUSD Inclusion Resource Guide or website for lesson plans, activities and lots of resources for inspiration.
SHARE YOUR PLANS HERE! Please let us know how your school is celebrating and provide the Inclusive Schools Week coordinator name and contact for your school site on this list. (Inclusive Schools Week Coordinators can be administrators, teachers, staff or parents!) We would love to hear what you are planning, and we will share additional tips and resources with your school coordinator.
