Special Events and Office Volunteers
Access to Adventure is a free arts, music, and recreation festival that provides engagement for children of all abilities. This is a truly wonderful event where families can participate in a number of activities, including rock wall, disc golf, skateboards, bikes, scooters & ramps as well as be a part of a live performance on the main stage at the Bandshell!
Last year the event brought almost 300 total participants including 150 children!
· Saturday, May 4, volunteer hours: 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM, event hours: 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM
· Location: Golden Gate Park Bandshell (in the Music Concourse between the M. H. de Young Memorial
Museum and the California Academy of Sciences)
· Volunteer Role: We are looking for volunteers to set up, tear down, lead an activity (face paint/simple
craft…), check in, hand out evaluations, other support for the day.
· Volunteers can come for an entire day or sign up for just a morning shift or just an afternoon shift

On an on-going basis we need volunteers for our family special events (held on weekends or Friday nights) and to help us in the office with various projects. Please fill out a volunteer application and indicate your interest in one of these areas.
